Welcome to Northleaze C of E
Primary School website
We hope that everyone who visits this website
may find something useful. It may be that you are a prospective
parent interested in the curriculum covered at Northleaze or an
existing parent wondering where the latest newsletter is. The
website is updated regularly to keep everyone informed of what
is going on in school.
Northleaze is a school of approximately 210
pupils in the village of Long Ashton near Bristol. The school
moved from an old Victorian building in 2006 and is now situated
in a new building with a large hall, ICT suite and decking area.
The school has strong links with All Saints Church and a
Christian, caring ethos permeates the school. The atmosphere is
very purposeful and positive with pupils who are encouraged to
work hard, develop skills and behave well.
The teachers and support staff are committed
to high quality learning in a fun and stimulating environment.
The school's last Ofsted report praised the
school's high standards and care, guidance and support which
contributed to the school achieving the 'Outstanding' grade.
Other outstanding features were the quality of teaching and
excellent behaviour shown by the pupils. The school continues to
grow and develop, making Northleaze a school that pupils and
staff are proud of.
this website will tell you a lot about life
at the school but if you are considering sending your child
here, a personal visit is highly recommended. Our aim is to
nurture confident, enthusiastic learners who enjoy school and
fulfil their potential in all areas of their work. We feel that
we are successful in this goal but come and see for yourself
