SEND
At Northleaze Primary School, we believe that each child has individual and unique needs. We are committed to providing high-quality education to all the children who attend our school. We believe that all children, including those identified as having ‘Special Educational Needs’ (SEN) should have access to a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum and make the best possible progress. Children are equally valued and fully included in all aspects of school life by creating a sense of community and belonging.
Below are details of our Trust SEND policy as well as our school’s SEN Information Report which aims to answer many of the questions you may have as a parent of a child with SEN.
The SENDCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is the headteacher, Mrs Corinne Clarke, and Emma Reynolds (Year 6 teacher) is the SENDCO support assistant.
