Northleaze Celebrates Positive Ofsted Report

We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, carried out in July 2026.

The inspection, carried out under Ofsted's new framework, recognised the many strengths of the school, including the quality of education, strong relationships, effective safeguarding, positive behaviour, high attendance and the caring, inclusive culture that sits at the heart of school life. Inspectors found that Northleaze meets the expected standard in all areas and that safeguarding standards are fully met.

What Ofsted said about Northleaze:

"Pupils are enthusiastic learners." 

"Pupils feel a keen sense of belonging to the school." 

"Parents value being part of the school community. They speak highly of the care that their children receive."

"Pupils are determined to live out the school's values, such as demonstrating friendship and compassion." 

The report also highlights the school's strong attendance, noting that rates of absence and persistent absence are significantly below the national average, while pupils' achievement is typically above national averages in English and mathematics.

We are incredibly proud of this report and the recognition it gives to our wonderful children, dedicated staff, supportive governors and families. The inspection reflects the caring and ambitious community we continue to build together at Northleaze.

We were particularly pleased that inspectors recognised our strong sense of belonging, our Christian values and the positive relationships that make our school such a special place. While we are proud of what has been achieved, we remain committed to continual improvement so that every child can truly let their light shine."
