Year 5 took part in a truly inspirational day all about what is would have been like to be an evacuee. We heard from members of the All Saints congregation talk about their experiences as evacuees as well as adults talking about different refugee experiences.
The children created mini dramas around WW2 and wrote and composed their own song about being an evacuee.
Thanks to these wonderful people for making this day possible: Michael the storyteller, Tom the Musician, Nicky the archivist and costumer, Marie the refugee from Czechoslovakia, Tom Ash, Mrs Naylor and Peter Terrett and the members of All Saints congregation! THANK YOU!!
